BIOGRAPHY

At Waterhouse

I serve as an extension of our clients, leading strategic marketing and communications programs and helping our team deliver above and beyond. I love translating complex concepts into compelling narratives that engage stakeholders, and I believe decisions should always be data driven. From designing integrated campaigns to developing ad copy and measuring and improving ROI, my objective is to ensure Waterhouse clients receive high-caliber service that drives results – for them, their teams, and their businesses.

I’m inspired by

I’m interested in social and consumer behavior – particularly how digital media and technology are changing how people engage both on- and offline. Related, I’m driven by the need to make science more approachable and consumable.

My background

I’ve had the privilege of leading a range of strategic healthcare marketing and communications initiatives. From data analytics and corporate/product/internal communications in my agency days to leading product marketing and go-to-market at a health tech start-up, I’ve enjoyed partnering across categories, with diverse stakeholders, and with companies of varying sizes to find creative and compelling ways to tell stories. A scientist by training, I earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California San Diego and contributed to multiple published research projects at the UCSD School of Medicine.

Beyond work

Since moving back to California after a stint on the East Coast, I spend a lot more time outdoors. I’m often hiking with my two rescue dogs (both pandemic puppies).

Current and previous clients

Exelixis, Arcellx, Eiger, Aetion, Genomic Health (now Exact Sciences), Aimmune Therapeutics, Relypsa (now Vifor Pharma)

Areas of expertise
  • Digital strategy
  • Corporate communications strategy
  • Corporate positioning & messaging
  • Product launch strategy & implementation
